michael,

my maternal grandfather is 82 and has the worst diet ever. hes just now starting to bald, went from nw2 to nw3 in the past 5 years.
his dad was also nw2 at worst when he died in sixties.

my only maternal uncle(55) is an NW2 and also has a terrible diet or did at least. hes since lost some weight.

Doctor said we inherit the androgen receptor gene sensitivity from the mother's side because it's XX. What do you think? How can i be going bald with genes like this? My dad is baldi in a similar pattern to what I am so im pretty sure I got his. He's NW5 at 50 and stable. He has been since 40. his dad had the same pattern.

Armando,

I didn't read the PDF file, I'll trust the title of the file and the author's conclusions. That IS interesting to say the least.

Perhpas I should read it. How LONG does it take for these gals to bald once on testosterone? Do you know? I was guessing 12 - 18 months

We are told over and over that baldness and heart disease are related, and since grape seed extract or reservatrol are good for both (both dialate blood vessels as well as inhibit PKC enzymes), I took that as further proof of the relation of the two disorders in some genetic way. However, if you think about it, grape seed and reservatrol and apple proanthocyandins and vitamin E probably help baldness because of inhibition of PKC. Ive not heard that Vitamin E is as good for the heart as reservatrol or grape seed. They might help by merely the capillary effects alone down there.

Im of course assuming, that if their is no correlaton for these transexual women's baldness, there is none for the men either, but that may be a mistake on my part. Interesting stuff Armando.
