Click play...................the second set of twins has a female who is going male pattern bald. She has gotten testosterone injections. Thats it. Same diet, all that sh*t.

Here is a picture of them together........http://www2.oprah.com/t ... _106.jhtml

And again.............up close, http://www2.oprah.com/tows/slide/200509 ... _109.jhtml

Here is a picture of a male-to-female transexual who still has her breasts, genitalia and a ton of body hair, and a thick mustache...........she is also bald now and wears a skull cap. You can click the picture to enlarge it....... http://roberthillreleasing.com/catalog/ ... cts_id=307

Here is another picture of a female who decided to be like a man, and get shot up with testosterone injections and went bald ..............................p**rn star "buck angel', http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buck_Angel

When these three were women, they had hair. One has a twin. They ate whatever the f*** they they wanted and kept that hair. If you block your androgen receptor sites with spironolactone enough and block DHT with finas, you'll probably keep your hair too.

So what your saying is higher levels of testosterone causes baldness. We know that.

Diet alone would probably not have been enough in these women to ensure androgenetic hairloss but in a man who already has a significant amount of testosterone, cooked fat can be the trigger which pushes his levels too high for his body hence baldness.

Also women have more aromatase present in the follicles which turn the DHT to oestrogen.

All your really doing here is showing excess DHT (ie. too much for that woman's body) causes baldness where genetic susceptibility exists.

The key factor in your example is that they were women and already started off with lower testosterone levels. I believe we were all given a range (whether it be high or low) in which we should stay without causing baldness. Increasing this range through poor diet causes baldness imo.

Dammitletmein dont you see that Michael is shooting down your`` what food are you eating causes Androgenetic Alopecia in genetically predisposed people `` theory? Michael is a very smart guy ,he is trying to tell you something ,seem to me that you just dont understand.
I`ll shoot once too: My highschool buddy had the best hair i ever saw in my life ,black, very thick, hairline something like Brad Pitt. My grandfather on my moms side and my buddy`s granfather on his moms side ,both died Norwood 7.In highschool i already knew about genetics involved in hairloss reason why i envyed my buddy thinking that he got his fathers(Norwood 2 at 50) genes . The point is that my
RAW VEGAN BUDDY went from norwood 1 to 6 in 5 years(started losing around 21) while his brother who is 1 year older than him is norwood 2-2.5 no dieting. I am no dieting either, but started using Propecia a few years ago ,right now i am Norwood almost 2.

How was exactly his diet helping my buddy?I bet you can find an excuse here too..

Dude, I'm not interested in excuses, just the truth.

Explain how it has shot down the theory that cooked dietary fat causes baldness/ hairloss.

Does your vegan friend eat other forms of cooked fat? Who's to say he wasn't suffering from an iron deficiency or as a vegan, a protein deficiency?

I welcome these posts. I am interested in the truth. From what I see though fatty foods cause increase testosterone, cause increased alpha reductase activity thereby more DHT and more male pattern baldness.

Also increased cholesterol is linked to baldness and heart problems are linked to baldness. BOth of which result from a poor diet.

Plus 2nd generation japanese eating western diet have balded much more. and americans are the biggest balders on the planet.

Loves steaks, eats them all the time. Wanna see his awesome hair? Ill post it if youd like.

Your irritating as hell. Go follow your internet Doctor's advice and leave everyone else alone..your like the Javohas Witness of a hair loss forum. STOP.

You probably don't understand my agenda because I don't have an agenda other than to find out the truth.

I fully intend follow this diet. Its not a 'doctor's diet', it is an amalgmation of information. I will be the guinea pig. I followed the diet for a month and a half last year, regrew my temples with no drugs.

Im interested as to why my theories may be wrong and the info I present invalid. So far, no one has shown me why this might be the case.

So get a life, stop posting post after post on an hair loss forum on a friday night when you should be out living, and grow hair.

Noone cares about these posts, nor about disproving you.. you do this because you want reassurance because youre not confident in what your posting.

Go follow the diet and heres my challenge to you- post before pics and then in a few months come back on here and post after pics. If there is a change, all of us will probably follow your internet docs advice and go on the diet. In the meantime, just stop man, its self defeating what your doing.

I dont understand what you mean by "missing anything obvious". In regards to what? It seems to me you've pretty much mastered the doctors advice. The only thing left for you is to put it into action and see if it works for you.

Posting all these reasons and generalizations like americans have the worst balding(which isnt true because someone actually posted a percentage of balding population per country and while america was high, it wasnt at the top of the list). All youre doing by constantly posting the same posts is losing credibility and the appearance of your own confidence in the regimen.

I told you what you should do, and if it works for you id try it as well. That is what science is. Its not posting these urban legends about "japanese men balding after WW2" which has absolutely no proof, its all "i read it from some guy who wrote it somewhere". Japanese people in general faced nuclear radiation after WW2 which is probably why if that statement was true, they had a higher incidence of balding. Native Americans probably have the least amount of hair loss in their population and they cooked friggin buffalos. HUGE BUFFALOS WITH TONS AND TONS OF FAT. But either way, if you want someone to take you seriously, document your experience with photographic evidence and in 10 months come back on here and let the world see how well your hair is doing.

I meant missing anything obvious science-wise.

Native Americans ate raw meat from what I'm aware. However, they are not genetically susceptible as far as I know.

The Japanese thing was undertaken by Japanese researhers and Chinese/Japanese today have balding rates equal to that of the wEst whereas they didnt before.

No, native americans surely cooked food. THey werent cavemen nor are they wild beasts. Its pretty unsafe to eat raw bloody meat..the transfer of toxins and disease is astronomically high. And according to you, genetic suscepitbility is overridden by the fact that they were eating cooked fat which according to you takes presedence and overrides anything else that may inhibit balding in men. So your contradicting yourself.

But regardless, i told you what you need to do. Anything else you keep posting is trivial until you follow your own advice and prove us doubters wrong. Till then, its all words and sh* talking as far as im concerned.

Actually, Ive seen some indians with somewhat receeding hair and premature grey. A couple were developing baldness.

The Japanese and Chinese have higher balding rates than they did before, but they still arent' as high as ours.

I firmly believe a good diet can help with hair for mainly anti-inflammatory reasons and upping SBHG, which will carry around more testosterone in a bound form, thus being unable to be converted to DHT.

Remember though.................lots of vegans still bald.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, people with androgen-insensitivity syndrome never bald, no matter what their diet. I have an uncle who is overweight and eats a bunch of fat, grease, and about everything imaginable that would be "bad for hair". He is a NW1 with thick-*** hair in his mid-fifties. Great guy. He's a manly man with alot of body hair too.................but good head hair genetics.

I agree genetics trumps all.

But I am interested in the people who ARE genetically susceptible and what triggers their baldness.

Now, I know that eating cooked fats does send alpha reductase up and thereby DHT so it does cause baldness to an extent, however,

The Vegan thing really perplexes me to be honest. Altho, I 'd like to know just how many vegans go bald and if this may be linked to protein deficiency or iron deficiency.

HAHAHAHA oooh man, you actually think that youre going to solve the puzzle that is male pattern baldness with absolutely no medical background, but rather because you read some internet guru's self diet plan and post nonsense with no scientific proof.

your a schmuck plain and simple. i tried to be respectful but youre a moron ronaldkia.

HAHAHAHA oooh man, you actually think that youre going to solve the puzzle that is male pattern baldness with absolutely no medical background, but rather because you read some internet guru's self diet plan and post nonsense with no scientific proof.

your a schmuck plain and simple. i tried to be respectful but youre a moron ronaldkia.

ur insults don't bother man. like i said don't like it = dont read it. I dont know who ronaldkia is.

dear friend:
Have your uncle a dense and thickness hair?
The same question about the friend in a french restaurant.
Genetics drive the colour, shape, disposition, thickness of scalp hair, etc., but in my opinion, there is no genetics difference in scalp hairs. Acording to my theory, people with a dense and thickness hair are less sensitivity to common baldness. The other "problem" could be the lenght of scalp hairs between men and women.

Armando,

The length of my uncles hair is fairly short, shorter on the sides. In high school, he had a "flat top" because that was for sports and it was the "sytle" back then. Ive seen pictures of him playing football and wrestling from way back then.

He wore it a little longer in the seventies. Its 2-3 inches long now. Thats the way he has worn it since the eighties. He probably gets a cut a month.

please stop clogging up the forum with all your topics. this is ridiculous . you have at least 10 on the front page. it is not fair to other posters. please don't make any more for awhile while you are talking in these because i don't want to have to delete them. youve pushed a lot of long time users threads onto the second page

be considerate

thank you
