If you were chained to a radiator stuck in one room with 20 prats, the fact that there was a vast world outside your door would not be of much consolation.

There is no meaningful correlation between the size of the universe (nor the extent of time) and the relation upon your life experience.

I appreciate this is an attempt at some perspective, which we can all do with now and then, but Im personally patronised by this video. As if we havent wrestled with this dilemma, I sure know I have and if anything, when you have some idiot in your face giving you crap, or your getting evils for no apparent reason, the full pathos and absurdity of the situation is never lost on me and if anything, the vastness of space only serves to make my proximity to so many unsavoury people even more unfortunate!.

Not having a pop, just hoping to encourage a little discussion, I think its an interesting topic.
