I have gone from losing about 100 hairs in the shower to only 40-50. Also I lose only 30-40 hair while combing compared to about 50-100 a few months back. :punk:

No new growth or anything like that...but at least the showers are not as scary.

How long is your hair? I dont understand how anyone with thinning hair can have it long, it just looks s-hit! And it draws further attention to your thinning scalp. The point im making is that im almost 100% sure I lose 100+ hairs or more in the shower everytime, but my hair is so short that you would never notice it as it goes right down the drain because its so short. Your hair mut be long enough to catch in the drain for you to see this. And of your hair is this long in the first place your hairloss really cant be that bad in the first place :thumbdown2:

Huh? I think your logic is a little flawed here, MHD. Usually people with thinning hair look better when they grow it out a bit; when they keep it close cropped you can see the diffuse thinning across their scalp. I'm a difuser and I keep my hair quite long, I don't think anyone would ever be the wiser.

Congrats Viper.

When the thinning gets worse, it really does look sh*t grown out, so mhd was right with that one. I have always had quite thin hair and now with diffuse thinning my hair is pretty damn thin on top and it looks horrific grown out. It gives me a much cleaner and nicer look when it's buzzed.

yeah theres a point where long hair doesn't hide it, but actually begins to emphasize the thinning.

Depends on the extent of the thinning. I look pretty badly diffuse with my hair one-two inches long. At three-four inches it looks full, anything longer and the weight of it makes it look like a combover.

A good thickening conditioner and blow-dry help big-time.
