very tiny hairs that i can see

I have receded to a norward 2 or 2.5 but from my original hairline to the current one if i look really closely in the mirror i can still see tiny clear looking hairs that are a millimetre or 2 big/.

Does this mean the hair follicles are not dead yet and that Minoxidle which i have just taken might make them grow back?

Its my understanding that the peach fuzz you are seeing is the result of the follicles being choked and they can no longer produce a normal, healthy hair.
If they respond well to the minoxidil then I think you have a good chance of waking them up. Stick with it because sometimes it takes months for them to respond. You might want to add a dht inhibitor to your regimen.
I had some respond in as little as 10 days and others are just now starting to grow after 3 1/2 months.
