i like 2 know please i don't have a genetical hairloss in my family as much as i know , but i have hairloss for the last 6 monts and i taking Saw pallmeto.
and i want 2 know if it can make u loss more hair if u don't have a genetical hairloss (i am taking that just incase)?

Whether or not saw palmetto works for hairloss is debatable on this forum, but many of the more senior members think that it is worth nothing except to cause shedding. I agree. Propecia may cause a shed or 2 but this is temporary.

I went off saw palmetto about a month ago. I think it may have done something, but it may also have done nothing. It was more for peace of mind than anything else. I'd advise some proven treatments first.

both during and after using saw palmetto I continued losing hair. after quitting saw palmetto i began losing more hair that i did when i was using it and that has continued up until now.

i dont know whether or now saw palmetto was a positive influence on my hairloss treatment, but either way it was not helping me solve any or my hair loss problems.

I used it for a number of years. Orally, it does nothing. Topically, maybe.

And, what is with the use of the number 2? You can't be that lazy?

Glig, if there is thinning on top then its probably male pattern baldness. If your hair is also thinning on the side of your head, chances are your hairloss is caused by something else. If it truely is not "genetical" then Propecia will have no effect, and Saw Palmetto isnt going to help regardless.
