Why does this highly regarded webiste not mention the side effects of finasteride on their page...

hmmmm

They unbelievably just brush over every single known side effect.

That is not good!

'The great thing about this treatment is that......' No no no! wait a minute, this is the side effects section, so do not start by syaing 'The great thing is.... There are no great things about finasteride, it's no miracle...

Did Propecia kill your dog and made you homeless? It's a prescription medication, you talk to your doctor about it, it has a leaflet where you can read all the side effects. Nobody is forcing you to take something you're not comfortable with.

Either take finasteride and keep your hair or don't and lose it - it's that simple!!

Yes, and dont believe some bogus research showing that minoxidil or other treatments can keep you above baseline.

The harsh truth is without this you will absolutely keep losing hair. And that has its own set of side effects.

I don't need a website to tell me the side effects, the Dr tells me about them and the information sheet inside of the medication box also states the side effects.

Well this is crazy... never taken pics of my head before but it's clear there is some sort of issue, everything seemed fine looking out my eyes. :)

I understand a lot of this is in my head right? As in thinking it worse than is, my hair looks crap here! I'd love to shave it off but what if there are actual bald patcges?

Can I help my hair if I cut it off?

- - - Updated - - -

I should state this was shot in my bathroom where there is a harsh bright light overhead!

I might see a hair stylist and get a really short cut? Caue my hair looks dead here?!

I eat a very clean diet, don't drink alchohol or smoke, don't do drugs (party suff) now apart from a bit of weed but only baking.

Don't eat meat, sugared drinks and sweets crisps etc.. clean as anything.

Any ideas?

Can I maybe change something in my diet or life that will reverse this?

Would hair dryer be a possible cause? I use through the week, this may expain why my hair looks dry here.
I'm not using it again!
Can someone please give me their thoughts on the above?

I think I am ok, hair is thick and no real recession, but one side seems to be a little thin, like noticable (in my head) when I look in the mirror.

Id like to bring this back, maybe it's a diet thing, or somethign I'm doing in my life?

I don't smoke, don't drink and eat a very good diet.

What do people do here to make sure their hair is good?

I have heard zinc is good, anything else?

I don't want any 'agro' checmicals on my head.

Look forward to your replies.

I have seen some names around here.

What are they please.

It should be stated that foolishly, occasioanly I would dry hair with a dryer on warm or hot, better to style it.

I have since stopped that and shaved hair.

Is there a chance it could 'heal' and start to grow back?

Thanks, well as you replied in the other thread I will use coconut oil 2 - 3 times a week..

Plus, like a fool I was using heat and hair dryer on my hair, I have now stoped this, and shaved my head so I am hoping that was the cause and hopefully it will heal itself!

I really don't want to be taking stuff like finasteride if it messes with hormones and all that other stuff.

Good luck to you too.

Hate being like this, but this guy is either a troll or extremely delusional.
