hello. im 25 M

my hair is falling too much. maybe 200-300 per day. especially when wet. but i can't find any hair on my pillow. almost no hair comes on my hand when dry. and i see very miniaturized hairs on my hand.

big point: my hair is falling from the sides and the nape. it's not like male pattern baldness.


It was the same situation 3 years ago and the doctor said it was telogen effluvium. but this time it does not stop. my dad is completely full head hair. he's almost like a teenager. :) Our hair structure is the same as my dad.

do you think it is time to start finasteride? bald head is more terrible for me than death.

You should post pics first off. It could be Alopecia, where some people lose every spec of hair on their body. Of course it could just be your natural hair cycle. Some things that can contribute are diet, activity, and medication. Do you have any issue with thyroid? It could be a lot of things, but post pics and stay come, you may just be paranoid. Lastly, hair loss is not how much you lose, but how much you don’t grow back.

Too much is falling from every where.. And very miniaturized hair comes to my hand. I think this is male pattern baldness. but why do my sides and my neck fall out? is finasteride right at this point? I don't care about side effects because I can never work without my hair, i can't meet any woman, i don't want to go out. Is it time for me to jump on Finasteride?

I combed now my hair and falling 30 hairs and most of them were terminal hairs.

Don’t start finasteride you have no visible hairloss, go to a dermatologist and get them to check if there is any miniaturisation

Yes start finasteride...but buy a pill cutter and cut it into 4ths assuming it's 1 mg. Take .25 everyday or other day to begin. See how you feel in a month.

finasteride can my hair be saved? Will my temples come back or its too late? I want to stay with hair until I'm 35 years old.

No telling but it'll help. You might be a great responder and gain alot .or you'll slow down what's alrasdy happening....wish you the best though brother.
