Vertex shedding...

Ok I've been on propecia for 5 months and most of my recession has been at my temples (2 years). The propecia is not doing much, moreover my vertex which was always fine is shedding alot for about 3 weeks.. Does anyone think I should add minoxidil to the vertex or is the propecia just shedding to make place for new hairs? Because my vertex has always been fine and I would rather maintain with propecia instead of adding minoxidil. Thanks in advance.

my vertex is also shedding on the left side of my head from front to back
i dont use finasteride yet but i do use rogaine and it seems to have slowed is down. i use a q-tip to apply so that it doesnt run down the side and back of my head
