I was on fincar last year, 1.25mg a day. I couldn't handle the sides, way too much brain fog.

I took a break and recently switched to veltride, I purchased it from Unitedpharmacy.

The package looks pretty legit (I saw that 60 Minutes report where they say the packaging is almost 100% on some fake drugs)

I've been on it for about a month, I think it's too early to see any results. I haven't had any sides. Is it too good to be true?

Has anybody had any experience with Veltride from UnitedPharmacy?

You should mention that veltride is generic dutasteride....that way people don't have to google it ;-)

I Dont mean to sound like a Negative Nancy, but I've heard nothing but bad things about Veltride on here and other boards. I've actually used it in the past, and it got me sick the first time. I really dont have faith in these Indian Generics brands. Anyhow, here's a little info I found on here a while back.

If you had sides on finasteride you certainely should get the on dutasteride cause it is more powerful. Generally speaking When you take it for the first time you should experience at least one of these typically mundane sides such as nut ache, watery semen a slight increase in testosterone if you don't get any of those and specially no hair improvement then that should clue you in that the drug might be fake. also look very closely at the pills they should be exactly a like. What you're looking for is half of the pills are real the other half is not. Ultimately If you take Dht blood test like I do every year that will l certainly tell you weather it's working or not.

Where can you get testosterone and dht blood work done? Are you just asking your primary physician or where?

Not 100% true. They do block DHT, but their mechanisms of action are different. People have reported sides with finasteride, but no sides when they tried dutasteride.

And to the OP, you might try quartering the tabs (if they're solid tabs). Even .1mg has been shown to get better response than 5mg of finasteride

http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/ItemLC500142/Dihydrotestosterone-DHT-Blood-Test.html

DHT blood test:
Non-members $132.00 each
Members $74.25 each (Save 44%)

You buy it on line or call in the order. Then you just go to any blood lab and give sample at your leisure. The blood lab emails results to lef.org and then emails you the results. The doctor is left out of the process entirely but lef.org has licensed doctors you can call included in price or you can take results to your own Doctor.
