Hello people,

When one pulls his hair back and sees smaller/finer (and very tiny at the outermost) hairs in the hairline, is that then a sign of male pattern baldness, or is it something everyone may have?

Thanks in advance,
Verb :)

a lot of people naturally have these along their hairline. but it could also be a start of thinning of hair in male pattern baldness. the key is, is your hairline receeding? are you losing more hair than usual? does male pattern baldness run in your family? were they always there? answering these questions lets you know if its male pattern baldness or just your natural hairline. so basically, it depends.

Do those little hairs stubbornly jut forward even when you pull your hair back? I've been told once, although I would like it confirmed by more people, that that can be a sign of male pattern baldness.

you just reminded me of a dream i had last night where i had thousands vellus hairs evenly spaced about an inch below my hairline. Interesting, because today was the best hair day I've had since I started worrying about my hairloss, and I've never had a dream about it before...
