Vellous or terminal?

I consider it quite successful that I'm even asking this question because 4.5 months ago I'd definitely know that these are vellous hairs.

So basically what is the qualification of a hair being a vellous or a terminal? Rather, is there a sliding scale where the line is blurry?

On my hairline temple area I have a lot of pigmented hairs (much thicker than the very thin vellous, but not as thick as the normal thick hairs on my head) that have gotten darker, thicker, and longer, but I am curious if these are still vellous and if they have to go through a few more cycles before they become true terminals?

They seem to be growing longer than previously but at a slow rate. I know that vellous hairs will not grow very long, so perhaps some of these are still vellous. Either way the hair is thickening and coming back!! 4.5 months on Spectral DNC and 1.5 months on finasteride. Check the regimen for the details.

vellous is when they are at the white thin stage

terminal is the next stage where they develop

dont know if im right, but thats m immediate recall.

but yeah, i've had a similar situation, i think they thicken after that. im not sure...maybe more hairs just like them grow so it looks thicker

i dunno
