using thickening shampoos on part of head only

has anyone done this? my hair at the back is soo thick, if i use my loreal vive thickening shampoo it just stands straight up around my cowlick area. but when i use it the hair at the front also looks better because it is thinner...has anyone washed just part of their head with thickening shampoo? lol i guess i should just go try it

yeah i'm trying to do this too cos the back of my head/hair is ludicrously thick. seriously, it could stop a bus. i'm trying to just shampoo the top but i don't think its working out.

damn. those clippers are looking soooo tempting.
