I can definately see shorter less pigmented hairs all over my head, and notice my hair is slightly thinning at the crown. I have flaky seb derm type stuff but despite 2 derms I cant rid of it. My head itches a lot and its thinning the most there. I have no family history of male pattern baldness on either side. A few mildly receded uncles maybe NW3. Is using propecia a bad choice? or could my hair be thinning just due to age im 24 right now or would seb derm be making me lose my hair or are they seperate?

i do not understand this post. you joined in early 2005 and said that "I used saw palmetto. It definately slowed down my hairlos(sic)" and now you've wondering if you even have hair loss?

I have lost hair, and its very itchy. Ive also been diagnosed with seb derm and have 0 family history of male pattern baldness. If seb derm can cause hairloss then really taking propecia would be stupid when i have no history of male pattern baldness. Saw palmetto helped the itch a lot I have no clue why.
