Ive noticed a patten.

When im feeling low and depressed, eating a poor diet not feeling positive about life, being lazy, not excercising, sleeping in long hours etc my hair is quite often in a terrible state but when I get the exact opposite to these feelings like spurts of enthuasim, I shave my head, be all positive about life and my hair and dont care about my hair, suddenly my hair has never looked so good! Connection?

I think so.

Positive attitudes can really help in all aspects of life, including possible hair growth! :hairy:

when you are having a bad day you look like sh*t when you look in the mirror...

when you are having a good day you look in the mirror and think... who's that good lookin fella...

Positive thinking will just make you think your hair is getting thicker and looking better but once you look in the mirror and take a picture of reality you will see the truth. Its all about perspective and frame of mind. I think you have a better chance of thinking that no one cares how much hair you have than thinking about how much regrowth or thickening your treatments are giving you. The more you don't care, the more positive you start thinking. Unfortunately, for you Metalheaddude you do care. So you can think positive as much as you want but its not going to change your reality. If it did, then you would not need to be here and needing a hair transplant would be out of the question as well. I was surprised you said you were a NW3. I figured you for a NW1.5 to 2. Maybe my positive thinking will help you get back to a NW2. :innocent:

Actually I agree with this and with what Doctorhouse said in part. It is all a matter of perspective. But is that really such a bad thing? Maybe if we all had these feelings everyday then none of us would be on this site!

DH according to all the experts im NW3. But im a thick NW3 if there is such a thing. Some of my hairline is still intact but its see through and thin. I push the longer NW3 hair into the NW2 even NW1 zones covering my temples. It looks fairly good. (At least I think it does). But I havent combed back my hair in public for years. I actually have a buzz cut now tho.
