Using Minoxil In Fits And Starts, Would It Have *negative* Impact?

Hair growth goes through cycles: growth (anagen), cessation (catagen), and rest (telogen) phases.

Would using Minoxil for say a few months, and taking a break, getting on again and so forth, disrupt the aforementioned hair growth phases? Or will using it - on and off - only affect how much the hair grows, there and then?

I know I won't use it regularly, but if some use is better than no use, or at least some use isn't causing problems, I would use it every now and then.

I think if you dont use it regularly youll be taking a risk of shedding and then not fully growing back what you lose due to the shed, and also stoppage. If you read through a few years of messages in this forum you can find lots of examples of people starting and stopping, losing a ton of hair and never getting it back after restarting. This is a drug you want to use consistently.
