Using Minoxidil for 1 Year Results..Time for a Transplant???

Hi all I’m 29 I’ve been on Min for 1 year and still don’t really see results. I am still slowly receding… I can tell in the texture of my hair it sucks. Do you think it’s a good idea for a transplant? I’ve tried finasteride and it gave me really bad sides. Min just isn’t working.. the first photo is me 3-4 years ago and the second is me today. Let me know what you think or if you have useful info. Thank you all! I have a big forehead and high hairline naturally but heavily considering a transplant.

What do you think about trying some other meds? I would like to check out the stuff from BidRx.com for example now. I am pretty sure that it is really good and helpful. Maybe you will find it interesting to you too, check it out and let me know what you think please

You might try oral minoxidil. It worked for me when topical did not. Also, you could add topical finasteride.

Topical finasteride goes systemic buddy. Even a tiny dose is enough to nuke your dht.

What about the Hims topical?? I am currently just using Kirkland Min?

They are all the same. People get sides from hims too. Even liposomal finasteride goes abit systemic.

We take drops from the topical minoxidil. 2 drops a day is enough in water and drink it.

@Mr Slap Head @losingbattle88 I have been putting min a little farther back on my hairline where the hair was better and now it seems to be getting worse, do you think it’s a shed and will grow back? I can post a photo, pretty pissed off.

I wouldnt bother with topical min anymore it can irritate and cause inflammation in the skin which is very bad for the folicles. Get on a low dose oral min instead. Maybe try some RU58841 just for fun cause u aint winning this battle anyways. Thats what im gonna try next I believe.

@losingbattle88 @Mr Slap Head yeah idk this is fucked up. I might stop topical min, feel like it is messing with my testes. Tried oral finasteride a few times as well with sides. I don’t think my hairloss is rapidly thinning, so may just opt for a minimal transplant in like a year or two. I don’t know what other choices I have. Sucks, don’t feel like I’ve gotten much progress with min so hopefully if I stop I don’t go through a massive shed.

I quit everything. Only use laser helmet everyday now.

Oral min. Try 1 or 2 drops a day

Thing is it does cause slight facial bloatness. Which isnt attractive. Read too many cases of this even at 2.5mg doses. I also felt my face and eyes felt weird and more swollen. Darker circles too for sure.

Ok. I checked the mirror without minoxidil and my face deffo looks better without it. More slimmed down even.
