I have been using minoxidil every now and then for 5 years. I use it 4- 5 times a week usually. Sometimes I skip 4 -5 days altogether if I run out of it and need a new bottle. Additionally through this 5 years ,I have taken breaks of a couple of months 4-5 times. So in all, I have used it very intermittently. My hairloss has only worsened obviously. But right now, I am afraid to stop it completely for the fear of losing whatever is left and that's why I am continuing it in the same manner that I have been doing until now. My thinking to keep continuing is that something is better than nothing.I am chronically ill and that is the cause of not being able to apply minoxidil with committment.and can't take finastride due to my illness.can someone advise what can I do?
