Using both Rogaine foam and solution simultaneously

A couple of weeks ago, I switched from Rogaine foam to solution as I believe it does a better job at growing hair.

On a few occassions, I haven't had the time to use Rogaine solution and have instead used a little foam. Each time, I experience a shed when I shower in the morning.

Are the two not usable simultaneously?

I've read that people get great results from using one in the morning (usually the foam) and using the other in the evening. Right now I'm using the liquid 2x a day but plan on switching to foam in the a.m. and liquid in p.m. soon.

I see. I think that the issue is that if you use Rogaine foam only occasionally rather than every day, shedding will occur every time you use it?

Do you get the impression that they shower in between the application of the foam and the liquid or not?

No and I don't think it would make much difference either way. Maybe a little bit with a clean scalp to apply rhe liquid to after showering but the foam absorbs so much better without leaving that oily residue. So by the time you apply the p.m. dose, the scalp is nice and dry and feels clean anyway. Plus your hair doesn't look as bad after the foam like the liquid does so it's better in the a.m. before you go about your day. I personally don't like the liquid but I do feel like it gets right into my scalp better than the foam does.
