Using BOTH finasteride and dutasteride

I've been taking 1.25mg finasteride for 6 months now and my hairline is continuing to slowly recede. Some people have told me that 6 months is too soon to expect results from finasteride but in my opinion it should inhibit DHT levels from day 1.

I'm considering taking a small dosage of dutasteride every week alongside a daily dosage of finasteride. Does anybody do this and have you seen results?

Also, what is the best method of purchasing dutasteride in the UK? For finasteride it was previously to buy through Dr.Singh; however, he neither sells dutasteride nor trades anymore.

Some people have used both and have made good progress. It seems that some people may respond to dutasteride better than finasteride, depends on genetics.

I hope someone else can tell you how to order dutasteride if you need it.

I emailed Spex and he has sorted me out with a reliable source. However I'm not still sure how often to take dutasteride every week alongside finasteride and what dosage to take.

no point in taking finasteride if you are taking dutasteride. dutasteride inhibits 90%+ of DHT while finasteride inhibits 70%. If you take finasteride with dutasteride the finasteride won't inhibit any extra DHT

In terms of dosage, I've seen people say that that took 0.5mg of dutasteride either once a week or every three days whilst on finasteride. Personally, if I was planning to take dutasteride with finasteride i'd take it once a week first, see if I have any side effects then either up the dosage or frequency.
