i had no major hairloss before. I started using Nioxin cause i suspected myself in lossing my hair. Not until now do i realzie what hairloss really is and that i didn't have it beofer I used that stupid shampoo. anyway, long story short, i was stupid enough to think that if i left a hint of shampoo each time i shower, it would give me an "all-day" DHT blocking agent. i did this for 3 days and on the fourth day my scalp got so itchy and oily it was crazy!
i stopped using it since and up to today, which is a year later I still have an itchy scalp and am lossing hair and thickness. Could inflamation have caused my hairloss? my scalp is not red, however I have alot of itching and dandruff. Could the shampoo/weird regimine have triggered male pattern baldness in me Or do u think the shampoo infected/disrupted my scalp?
forgot to add, the thinning, itching and dandruff is all over my head. The top of my head in fact has more thickness than my sides (been like this since the day i was born). However the itching is more prevalent on the top, althopugh i still get dandruff and itching on the sides too.
