Use Of Retinoids At A Young Age: Good Or Bad?

Done a bit of research of retinoids recently after I saw a lot of people have it in their looksmaxxing regimen. Basically, I know that it encourages faster cell turnover which has anti aging effects, it's also good for closing pores, acne etc. Does anyone think it would be beneficial to start this product at 20? My reasons for using it are slight minoxidil sides(dry skin, occasional forehead wrinkles due to this) and mild acne.

Would I benefit from this at a young age or would other skincare products be better at my age?

Doesn't hurt if you want to be proactive. Make sure you wear sunscreen because it makes you more sun sensitive.

Mid-late 20's is generally a good time to start intensive skin care. I don't know about the whole minoxidil sides thing making it important to start sooner, I've never noticed the minoxidil skin issues so I can't speak for it, but if you're getting them then you may want to start now

It's not really bad it's just that my skin can be prone to dryness at times which causes bad forehead lines. Most of the time I'm okay though

I wouldn't do it if I were you. Rumor is retinol/retinoids can cause hairloss depending on the person. I know from personal experience it can make hairloss worse.
