Ok well im on Propecia / Rogaine-minoxidil / Nizoral 2%

Pro cost me $55 a month. The doctors samples ran out . How much for Proscar? I see drugstore planet has it.

Also does Propecia to Proscar cause any more shedding or is there any side effects? Has anyone made the switch?

minoxidil I get cheap and not worried about that.

Nizoral is costing me 42.00 a bottle where can I get this cheaper online or wherever?

Any info would be apperciated

You are paying way too much, you can do this hair thing for much less.

propecia and proscar are the same drug but in different doses.

proscar = 5 mg of finasteride

propecia = 1mg of finasteride

so if you buy proscar (the 5mg pill) you need to chop it into 5 bits (1 mg each) and that will give you 1 mg a day. Some here quarter it for 1.25 mg, mainly for the convenience of division.

I am paying about £30 ($56.70 US) for around 5 months supply of proscar.

I find it in the $13-$15 range at most grocery stores, at least here in California.

Oh, you are talking about 2% Nizoral! Well that changes things.. I think that many of the cheaper prices being quoted here are for the 1% form which is purchased over the counter.

That notwithstanding, I can't imagine that you couldn't get it cheaper. The only point of reference that I know offhand is Dr. Lee's 2% Ketoanalconahole shampoo which he sells at 4 oz for $13.90. Try a price-per-ounce comparison with your current source to see if you are being gouged or not.

If the price of the 2% is really killing you, you might also consider dropping down to the 1% form that most of us here all use? It's an option...

Check out eBay. I just recieved three bottle of Nizoral 2% from there, and it cost me about US$40. 1/3 the price you're paying. Anyway, there's an auction or two up there now, with a "Buy Now" option of US$42.00. Check it out if you want.
