unwanted facial hair, should i stop minoxidil?

I started applying minoxidil (lipogaine) before 5 months, good results but now I have hair all over my cheeks. They instruct me on the bottle to "stop if you get unwanted facial hair growth". I know that's not going to be permanent, but I see it increases and getting thicker. I was thinking about using minoxidil only once a day, so I tried that for one week but the result is major shedding.

should I stop? and what's the alternative? I'm 22 and I can't imagine myself going bald. :sobbing:

What % of minoxidil is in the brand you use? Reducing the dosing frequency and %( if this applies 2U) may just be all that is necessary. You seem to be a good responder already which is obviously in your favor? Thanx for sharing and best wishes.

lipogaine contains 5% minoxidil. sorry what you mean by reducing the dosing frequency?

Thanks.

I think he meant that you might want to reduce daily frequency or % you use (if it was twice a day, then down to once a day, for example) to see if that helps. cheers

I already did that for one week and the result was excessive shedding, I almost went back to where I started. Now I'm going to try 2%.
