Hey everyone. Here's a bunch of pics. Recently got a somewhat shorter haircut and it became extremely noticeable. I have very thick hair, so it was covering it up nicely. The weirdest thing was that it wasn't even noticeable a week ago. Idk, the place felt itchy but I have psoriasis and a dry scalp so while it could be that male pattern baldness itch, I think it's something else. Idk but this is pretty bad. Gonna be heading to the derm soon. You guys think the big 3 will help?

Here are some of them with flash

Doesn't look like your crown is thinning to me. Could go to a derm to be safe though, but I bet they will say the same thing.

Thanks for the reply! I uploaded some flash pics up. It's looks awful there. Would you mind checking those?

Everyone's hair does that when you shine a light on your cowlick. Sorry to break it to you, but it doesn't look like you're losing any hair.

Your hair loss is standard. You can read this:

According to the research, it is normal to lose 50-100 hairs every day. This may sound like a lot, but keep in mind that we have 90,000 to 150,000 feathers. If we brush our hair daily by shampooing our hair, we do not notice a loss of about 100 normally. However, if you have long hair and if it is longer, you notice the loss, because the length makes it look more like a brush or floor. Also, if you have simple and easy hair styling and do not often stylize your hair, you suddenly wonder how many hair you leave behind in the brush when you decide to use a brush to style your hair all of a sudden. If you have a really serious hair loss problem, you will see a loss of 10 to 50 percent of the fur in any part of your head.

Thanks for replying. So what are you saying by using this quote.

And thats because you can see scalp sort of creep its way up from ur crown to somewhere in the middle of ur head. Were you wearing headphones or a hat before these pictures were taken because that would easily explain the scalp trail? otherwise you should keep an eye on it.

You have perfect hair dude, and from the look of it, it'll stay that way for a long time. Go out and enjoy your life.

I would definitely keep an eye on it. I was in that same spot. Thought I may be thinning. Turns out I was. It's been about 6 years since I first noticed it but I still have a full head of hair but definitely thinner.

Plunge? What plunge?

Hard to tell, either way its super early and you may be able to treat it easily if you can tolerate the meds.
