I'm a 26 year old female who's had a number of mild medical problems. Mental disorders, eating disorders, chronic anemia.

In a span of 2-3 weeks my thinning hair finally took it out on me.

I noticed 2 months ago, my hair was thinning.
Mind you this is virgin root were talking about, after bleaching...
I know what you're thinking: "bleach is the culprit!"... Well...

Growing up my black hair was always thick and the spotlight at salons. That's until I decided to go all 'mother of dragons'.
Having dyed my hair since 13, bleached it once when 17, dyed it some more in darker shades, then finally going crazy bleach mode last year, I thought it could take.

2 months ago, after 3-4 months of letting my roots grow back, I started to notice thinning.
You know, the whole "hold my bangs up and you can see the scalp" issue.

Last month I started to notice the center of my hairline was noticeably... Concerning.

The hair at my widows peak had/have visible follicles peeking out like little black pigments.
But still, my hairline was in-tact.

Fast forward to 3-4 weeks ago.
I started to notice the bulbs of my hair were too prominent. Going to a PCP yielded nothing.

Remember when I said I have chronic anemia? I've had that since I was 15. So even when I was weighing 90lb with bad anemia, while dyeing, my scalp still produced thick lovely hair.

My new (now former) PCP said it was my anemia. As history shows, no, it's not.

In just 2-3 weeks the center of my hairline has receded by either, or almost, an inch (and it keeps going).

It's not oval or circular spotting, just hair falling out with prominent follicles throughout the recession, or rather disappointing because there are no stray stands the length of my hairline anywhere.

I went to my new PCP today.
She looked at my hairline when I told her what was going on, and upon seeing it she, with concern, said that the amount of recession in 2 weeks is abnormal.

They appointed me with a dermatologist in a month and 3 days.

Now here's the deal. If in 2 weeks my hair has receded by a concerning amount, I don't know how well it'll do in 4 weeks and 3 days.

The steps I've taken so far are borderline paranoid.
Washing my hair has been reduced to once a week.
I've fashioned myself some bangs.
I use biotin, collagen, and argon oil shampoos and conditioners.
Recently purchased Black Jamaica Castor Oil shampoo.

I don't use heat on it (frequently or at all).
Working out is a fear since I'm scared sweat will promote further loss.
I'm scared to go outside in the day or open air, because I assume that'll cause further damange.

I'm currently taking:
- Iron 65mg three times a day for my anemia.
- MSM 1,000mg once a day
- Biotin 10,000mcg once a day.
- I stopped taking Vitamin C 500mg

I'm calling my insurance tomorrow to find another specialist who can see me ASAP. Any advice on what to say to force an appointment sooner?

But if that doesn't work, what can I do to reduce damage/slow recession for a duration of 4 weeks and 3 days?

I can upload a photo of the recession progress since last week.

get back on vitamin C and take it with the iron because it enhances its absorption.
I cant recommend minoxidil or anything but try to see a dermatologist sooner than a month
