Twins comparisation with/without Duasteride!

One twin has taken dutasteride for many years and has a full head of hair.
the other twin didnt start duasteride until he had lost most of his hair and he is much balder.
what do you think?

Is dutasteride respectively just finasteride. I hear people taking one or the other and I can no longer take finasteride so I'm starting to wonder if dutasteride would be a possibility with no sides for me.

I am no expert and have never tried dutasteride myself (yet) but I am told that if you have finasteride sides, you will be vey much likely to have sides from dutasteride too.

Notice that the twin taking Dutasteride has significantly less air(forearm) hair & chest hair( observed below the collar bone). Barring the medecated twin shaving his arms and chest, this backs up the belief that less DHT = less body hair.

I'm not disputing either of you but I can attest that finasteride will reduce body hair.
I personally shave my chest, back (I'm italian), arms. I can tell you when on finasteride my body hair that regrew was not only thinner buy took much longer to regrow.
Perhaps my personal reaction to the hormonal imbalances points to why my sides were so severe.
Different strokes I suppose.

Why does finasteride seem to get discussed much more than dutasteride, since the latter is supposedly superior at combating hair loss and there is no significant difference in side effects? Is it mostly a case of it not being technically sanctioned for hair loss treatment?

Wow, that is a pretty compelling story. Looks like duasteride is the real deal, why don't more people use it as opposed to finasteride? Are side effects worse?
