The OP hasn't turned 40 yet so he doesn't know that once you hit the big 4-0 your hair loss worries are over. I turned 40 a few months ago and haven't cared about my looks since.

There's lots to look forward to in your forties as well. Prostate Cancer!,
muscle loss, and many other things.
