Trying Walker Tape, Lace Front Thin... again...

I just started wearing the 12" long silver mohawk that has been sitting in the drawer for over a year. Since the hair system is vented "straight back", I am exposing the hairline, again. It's Full French lace, no poly.

I used my regular Ultra-hold contours, and they show. I decided to give the Lacefront Thins, a try again. I have about a half dozen packs of both the CC and C hairline.

For some reason, it DID indeed decide to stick to the lace, this time (despite the name, sticks BETTER to the skin).

I will say it DOES indeed look much better than the thicker Ultra Hold, and even the Lace Front, blue tapes.

Let's just see how long it lasts. It's not going to be too hot this week, I am hoping I can go a full week.

I do say that getting the system vented properly is a massive help. The first three systems were freestyle, a big mistake if you are looking for a Viking look.

I got Walker extenda bond strips(ones with holes in), Walker no shine, Walker lace front blue tapes and Super Stick in my supplies...
I'm curious about trying the Walker signature tape maybe..

The problem for me was handling the tape! It’s a beast to work with but if you can get it to work it’s amazing.

It's pretty expensive for me to order these... I did try, previously the No-shine, and I currently have a stock of the Lace Front Blue (which I tried at the first application, and it was good).

I never heard of "Super Stick".

For now, it's holding quite well, and no lifting after 3 days.

The problem for me was handling the tape! It’s a beast to work with but if you can get it to work it’s amazing.

I was expecting it NOT to work... and I did have to throw away one of them... it got wrapped around my finger.

For exposed hairline, thins are the best. My issues are with cleaning. If I wear too long, it dissolves and sticks in the lace, a pain to clean..so to ease thing a bit, I put noshine contours first, but not right to the edge, about 1/4 inch back, then put the thins overlapping the noshine..that way, I only have 1/4 inch width of the thins to clean, instead of the full width..the noshine peels off easily when drenched width alcohol.

What you think of No-Shine?
I find it extra sticky but not the thinnest tape around...

I found it to be... OK, but finding the thin, better.

I am, after 3 days getting some lift... since it's still "just glue".
