Is patterned hairloss not always genetic? I thought it was from everything I read. My fathers and uncles hairline seem fine. NW2 at most, there's really nothing about their hairlines that look thinning or receding, pretty youthful for middle-aged men. Somehow my hairlines worse, I could only think it was from my moms side of the family, none of whom I've ever met or communicate with as they live in the Philippines and they're not people I've really ever kept in touch with. Well I finally got some pictures of two my moms brothers, and their hair is thick and their hairlines are better than most 20 year olds, and these guys are 60 y/o!!! So my mind is just blown. Why is my hairline receding and everything thinning on top? Could it be a non-genetic issue? Is hairloss even genetic? I'm so confused and lost. Why me.
