Tricomin vs Revivogen

This may be an obvious question to some, but unfortunately to me it's not.

What exactly is the difference between these two products- Tricomin and Revivogen? Both claim to be an anti-androgen (I think???) and both claim to have regrowth properties

I am considering Tricomin to try and achieve some regrowth and thickening but should I consider Revivogen instead?

Taken from another post...

"The owner of this site once posted a list of the effectiveness of treatments, which went like this:

(1) Propecia (2) Rogaine (3) Tricomin (4) Topical spironolactone 5% (5) Revivogen (6) Crinagen (7) Folligen (8 ) Everything else"

Is that accurate?

If you are a Tricomin user you may also be able to help here... viewtopic.php?f=42&t=51249 (haha, thanks!)

Tricomin has copper peptides which is supposed to be a growth stimulant.

Revivogen is an all-natural DHT inhibitor.

Whether either of them work well is debatable.

But they are so similarly marketed by the looks... how is one supposed to choose?

Tricomin

"Tricomin is for men experiencing diffuse thinning, the formation of a bald spot in back, recession at the temples, or any combination of these. Its major role is stimulating new hair growth and calming the scalp. It works well with Propecia (Generic Finasteride) which will stop the cause while Tricomin stimulates new growth."

Revivogen

"Within six to eight weeks of using Revivogen one can expect a significant decrease in hair loss and appreciate a difference in how their hair looks and feels.

Within six to twelve months, the scalp looks fuller and denser as miniaturized hairs grow thicker and longer and become pigmented. Maximum benefit occurs within 12 to 18 months of continued use. Once maximum benefit is achieved, Revivogen can be used few times a week for maintaining the results."

well if you can afford it, buy both!

I use Tric because I don't use minoxidil. I've considered Revivogen but I don't think it's worth the money as I take Finasteride.

Great, thanks again QC.

Revivogen is designed as a DHT blocker which in turn can have regrowth properties.

Tricomin is designed as a regrowth agent via it's copper peptides but also does have DHT blocking properties.

I think this is a good summary based on what I have been able to read yesterday.

How has that regimen been for you QC? That is the same as I am looking to take on. Already use Proscar and Nizoral, looking to add Tricomin to get some regrowth. Did you experience shedding from Tricomin?

no I don't think I had shedding, but then I really don't look very carefully at my head regularly - I wait to examine it after a long period of time to see if anything's changed.

I don't know if Tric does anything, but at least I feel that I'm doing something stimulant-wise.
