Hello --
I've been using 5% minoxidil and 5% spironolactone cream for several months now and have been very happy with the results (less shedding and even some regrowth). Unfortunately, it seems like my body's developed a distaste for minoxidil and I've been getting some uncomfortable side effects (chest pains, shortness of breath, etc.).
So I'm looking to drop the minoxidil from my regimen. I'm not into popping pills, so Propecia is out. As a result, I'm looking for some other all-topical regimens. Has anyone had any success with Tricomin and spironolactone together? I used to use Tricomin, but I dropped it for the Minoxidil because of the cost and the general feeling that Minoxidil worked better.
So what do you guys think? Can Tricomin and spironolactone at least help keep the hair I have? Is there anyone out there who's had some success with these two products?
Thanks!
