hello all, i'm still a bit early in my treatment, but also a bit lucky that i have had early success.

hairloss - i am about a norwood 1.5, with diffuse thinning, mostly in the front, probably a little tiny bit in the back, its hard to tell. very little family hairloss.

treatment - propecia once a day, semodex shampoo everyday (it just makes my hair really healthy), and saw palmetto/pyogeum supplements (because they are an easy addition).

the ups and downs - early in my regimen i shed for three weeks, then it stoped, at 3 months i shed again for two weeks (i was getting depressed at this point). but hair always seemed to get better after the sheds. right now, at 3.5 months, my hair is looking quite nice and little hairs are sticking out everywhere (i had to actually pluck some of them cause they were sticking out way below my hairline and looked funny, ha). i am at the point now i would be content with maintenance with just a touch more growth which seems to be coming in anyway.

stay with it, catch it early. propecia works for most.
