Hi All,
I've just joined here to ask if anyone could please help me with a query about a specific hairloss treatment I experienced in the 90s.
It's been driving me a little paranoid because I can't find anywhere else on the net that mentions this, yet it happened to me - for sure. I'd love to know if you guys know of this, maybe had it too, and have any views too.
To give a little background, in around '93 I had a treatment at a clinic near London (crazily I don't even know the name for sure now, I was young and a little dumb) - it was basically a surgical procedure in which they said they would make a small incision in my scalp, which allowed them to go under the sclap then do some kind of 'bruising' underneath with a surgical tool - this was supposed to stimulate hair growth.
I'm not sure the official name for this treatment, and can't seem to see it mentioned elsewhere on these forums - does anyone know of this procedure, or had it done? It doesn't seem to be advertised among current treatments either.
Many thanks in advance for any information if possible.
Simmy.
