Hi people, i'm new around here :)

The forum is awesome, i'm currently evaluating all posts, i'm a norwood 2/2,5 i have hair thining in the top of the hair but i don't lose too much, but my temples are receeding a lot, but they have vellus hairs at least. My father is bald.

1) My ideia of treatment:

Finasteride
spectral dnc-l & (or) rogaine foam

what do you think?

2) And Do you recommend starting just with finasteride? I really don't want to lose my vellus hairs, that could be reversible, what do you recommend for them?

3) revivogen, tricomin, x5 hair laser, nizoral, viviscal what do you think of this treatments? for research i see they are the best ones.

4) does really liquid finasteride exists and works? I have seen some studies but i'm a bit lost.

5) does rogaine really makes hair to shed? That doesn't make hair with poor quality than it was? And isn't risky in vellus hair in the temples? I'm going to lose them if i use rogaine foam there?

Thanks for your time people and for your anwers in advance, i'm really hoping and i can fight against Androgenetic alopecia.

29 views and nobody to help? I really need someone experienced help.

I'm losing lots of hair and my hairline it's receding, i really need to import some products (they take too long) and decide for a regimen.

What do you think of this?

no one can tell you for sure what is going to happen. The best bet and general consensus is the big 3: finasteride(propecia), minoxidil(rogaine/kirkland) and nizoral. Rogaine causes a shed most of the time as it outs the hair currently in resting phase. This hair will grow back and more often than not will be thicker but could take about 100 days.

Thanks for the answer :)

And do you think it's better to try first finasteride and then add rogaine so i can know what works? Just because i'm losing lots of hair and i'm thinking of going to both at the same time.

And rogaine is good for the temples not risky right? If i only have vellus hairs, i don't want to lose them. So if rogaine can work, spectral dnc would be even better right?

Nizoral i see Ketoconazole is good for hair. But if i don't have dandruff it won't make my scalp oily or irritated or make my hair bad?

And annyone have good results with tricomin or revivogen? Or the x5 hair laser?

Thanks

finasteride and rogaine work on every part of the head. If u lose the velus hairs they should come back. Some people think all the things in dnc dont work well together. I have no opinion. Nizoral 1% doesnt negatively affect my scalp and should thicken it up over the next couple of months. If you want to go all out right now then use them all. Rogaine is annoying to use twice a day for years. Once you start you cant stop or you lose the stimulated hair. finasteride is just a pill but you cant stop that either.

I started with rogaine foam all over my scalp, no side effects i think, but i'm using 4/5 caps, and they only recommend 1 cap for vertex in the manual, is this normal?

hm no one has an opinion in spectral dnc?

i think i'll give nizoral a try, but i see the main ingredient is also present in other shampoos.
