Travelling with dutasteride

I'm from the UK, and I'll be traveling to the US for a month. I'll be taking a month's worth of Dr. Reddy's dutasteride. I bought it online without a prescription. Also, I don't have the original box for it. I just have the blister strips, but it says on the blister strips what medicine it is.

How should I travel with it? Should I put it in my checked-in baggage? Will there be any potential problems since I bought it without a prescription?

Pretty sure you will be fine, just put it in a clear plastic bag with some other stuff like your toothbrush and maybe some advil or something. Or just pop the pills and put the pills in another container like a advil or something. Just stick it on top of your carry on or check-in.

I've taken it from UK to US a few times, never given it a second thought. Just threw it in my suitcase.

Did you face any issues? I'm going on a business trip soon and worry about taking pills I bought without a prescription.

I traveled with medication before, including to the US, and I'd recommend keeping dutasteride in your carry-on with the blister strips clearly labeled. I flew with Scandinavian Airlines, and they didn’t check my meds, but having a doctor’s note helps. U.S. customs can be strict, especially with prescription-only meds.

Dutasteride doesn't work for most people. In fact, it's often worse than finasteride.
