Transplant updates.....

Hi all
I would like to know about people here who had transplants and ahve great results with them, by that i mean the typa results that they show on the infomercials for them. I'm 23 and I'm starting to thin and receed on my right side its starting to get noticeable to me and its driving me nuts im growing my hair out and its long enough to pull into a pony tail but i cant do that with how its thinnign and receeding in the front it will bother me to much . im guessing i might need only 1-200 hairs or so to correct this and hopefully it'll last me a few yrs, long enough to put my mind at ease about this for awhile at least

The first thing that you need to do is take some digital pictures of your hair and email them to the top docs. Being 23, there's a good chance that they'll tell you to get on Propecia and not get a hair transplant at your age. I started getting transplants at your age and if I had to do it all over again, I'd probably just roll with it, maybe shave my head.
Having said that, there's some icredible work being done today, much better than what I had done. I'm having another procedure and I did 9 months of research before I made my decision. Hair transplants are PERMANENT. You don't want to make a bad choice. This site is cool, but it's kind of slow in terms of traffic. Go to http://www.hairlosshelp.com and also http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/. You've got a lot of research to do before making a decision of this magnitude. Go slow, very slow.
