Toppik/nanogen falling onto your hands?

I recently bought some nanogen hair fibres and although it did cover my thinning areas, each time I ran my hand through my hair, I ended up with a bunch of it spread all over my hands.
Is there a way to prevent this? or was I simply using too much of it?

I assume you use hairspray? It's not a good idea to run your hands through your hair or your bound to get some come off.

Yeah I use the hairspray called locking mist that comes with nanogen.

Isit possible to wear a hat whilst having nanogen/toppik in your hair? or does it ruin the hat?

It does ruin your hat, I've ruined countless. You can't run your hand through your hair as it will get covered in fibers. I've banged my head on the interior of my car before and ended up with a smudge on the car's upholstery where I hit it. The trials of fibers eh?
