Hi all

i am 24 years old man ( male ) ,and have diffuse hair thining in my top of head and vertox.

1-can progestrone 2% lotion ( topically ) stop hair loss and regrowth hair?

2-plz tell me a brief information about this lotion?

3-which side effect this lotion can couse ?

4-is its lotion have the side effect like its oral tablet?

5-and is it safe to use it with minoxidil 5% and nizoral 2%?

6- do you recommend me to mixing minoxidil 5% with 2% progestrone ?

7- do you recommend me to mixing Minoxidil 5% with 2% Azelaic Acid or more ?

Hey, i am no genius on using progesterone topically as a hairloss treatment, but i do know a little. I know there has been studies done i believe out of London backing up that a mixture of progesterone lotion does in fact stop hairloss and promote regrowth. (google search it and you'll find the report) My derm is supposed to be one of the best in the northwest of the US and that is what he put me on first. I used it for 8 months and had another check up, he noticed small vellus hair regrowth but wasn't pleased with the results so then he put me on propecia. I am not sure of the side effects, however, I have used rogaine which caused irritation to my scalp and progestrone did not cause any dryness or irritation whatsoever.
