Hey Guys i need some feed back on spironolactone i haven't really found anyone who has seen any success with topical spironolactone.. So any feedback would be appreciated =)

Dont forget to include what you had with your regimen, and if you saw success with Dr.lee 2% / 5% cream or your own homemade spironolactone.

well spironolactone can be effective if used along with minoxidil and other hairloss items. Right now I cannont tell the difference but I just did have a minor temple shed.

No hairloss product is very effective when used by itself. That should always be taken into account.

Chujgcha,
Are u using dermovan?

Chuj

I noticed that you used glycerine instead of propylene glycol, i was never good at chem... what exactly are the difference? or are they the same thing?

Also where do you get the spironolactone tablets from? and the glycerine??

Thanks! =)

according to bryan heres another method

is there anyway to get a more "liquidey" version of spironolactone without alchohol?

Yeah, but you'd probably have to make it yourself! Grind up some spironolactone tablets and dissolve them in pure propylene glycol (carefully siphon off the liquid afterwards or simply run it through a coffee filter, if you wanna get rid of the tablet excipients). However, it will be quite greasy, and take a long time to "dry"! You could try adding a small amount of ethanol to the mix, which would decrease the greasiness and help the penetration. A small amount shouldn't be all that harsh to your scalp.

would mixing it with pure aloe work or is there a better alternative?

Pure aloe? Isn't that a watery substance? If it is, spironolactone won't dissolve in it...
