Why use such small amounts? A jar lasts me 40ish days. I started to shed after a month of use but everyone is different. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens!

I put it only on the hairline and crown. You really don't need to put a thick layer of spironolactone.
You shed on spironolactone? Are you positive its because of spironolactone? It could be seasonal shed maybe. Are you also on minoxidil?
I doubt you shed because of spironolactone but than again who knows. Maybe you will get some nice results.

I'm on a herbal prostate medication that contains the typical acclaimed DHT inhibitors for almost a year. My opinion is that it has helped an okay amount and No minoxidil..YET
Idk what is causing it very difficult to answer if it is the spironolactone. I'll be taking pictures every month

Saw palmetto?
It's one of the Hair Signals ingredients that I use. I doubt Saw palmetto inhibits much of DHT.

From what I noticed, the saw palmetto has darkened my hair. I stopped using for 3 three weeks, and my head started itching so freaking bad. I got back on saw palmetto with an extra dose, and it went away in a week.

flutamide is much more potent, however studies indicate that it works to the extent that it is absorbed systematically much like finasteride. Flutamide is taken by men trying to change their gender.

I don't have any side effects. It absorbs locally. Just make sure you don't have any cuts or exposed pimples on the scalp where you apply spironolactone as it can get to the blood stream. I think its better to avoid applying spironolactone on things like that just in case.
But as I said I never had any sides. I'm using it twice a day, small amount on hairline and crown. One jar of s5 lasts me around 3 months.

CursedMen, it works. It seems my hairloss slowed down. But remember you need some time for spironolactone to kick in. You will shed less hair, that's what I noticed around 2 weeks after I started using it.
I never used finasteride nor dutasteride.
I would rate it 8 out of 10. It works for me but I also use 5% minoxidil, keto shampoo and hair signals (when it comes to hair signals I'm not sure if it does anything)

At the moment, I'm experiencing shed, my hairline got hit but I have those sheds every once in a while. It lasts 2 to 3 weeks then everything grows back to normal, sometimes even more. Last time I had shed like that was a year ago.
3 weeks ago I switched Nizoral 1% keto to revita which also contains 1% keto but it also has other ingredients like copper peptides, emu oil and other things. It could be the reason why Im experiencin shed. Every change to the treatment can trigger she but as i said I'm confident it will grow back.

thanks for this post. id like to start it as a killer of dht 24/7 if you mk dht 24/7 you should be attacking it likewise so I want something to sit on my scalp and kill or suppress it between the nizoral shampoos. Because that is when the dht is rebuilding and therefore killing follicles. Lord I hate this disease! Would somebody cure this already???

You are talking about this like its a huge battle between DHT and katokonazole. But good luck with killing DHT

I hope Nizoral will be available in the US soon. This wait is "killing" me :]
