Topical spironolactone Question

Does anyone know (via a study, Dr. Lee, etc.) how long the spironolactone has to be on your scalp to be adequately absorbed? Eveyone says you should use it at least twice a day because it is metabolized in the skin so quickly, but you can't leave it on in the morning b/c it is too greasy and it stinks. So I wonder if it would be useful at all to apply it in the morning 15 or 20 minutes b/4 washing you hair.

I honestly can't smell anything at all in my spironolactone 5% cream from Dr lee. It's not greasy at all either ?? I've had 3 tubs now and all have been the same.

I don't know about the rate of absorbtion but I doubt it would be a good idea to wash it off 20 mins after outting it on. Like I say, I don't know though.
