TOPICAL. Penetrators?

Other than Water and Propylene Glycol, what are good penetrators to throw into a topical mix?

Can Vodka be used? Alcohol? Ethanol? Anything in specific?

Whos had success with what?

EMU Oil? It will absorb into the skin within minutes (there will be excess leftover so you can't pour it on and expect it all to disappear) and it's also used as an emulsifier.
