I've been using wholesalehairproducts 2% liquid spironolactone but am considering buying cemproducts 5% liquid spironolactone (i'm only interested in liquid spironolactone for application reasons). Was wondering if anyone had tried cemproducts or both and if they can compare the two? Since cemproducts spironolactone is stronger would it have a greater chance of causing side effects or does it not get absorbed into the bloodstream regardless of concentration?

It's not bad. It does have a slight skunk smell. I wouldn't apply it and then go out without showering first, but it dries very fast.

I'd say my experience has been mixed but then again I haven't been extremely diligent where I'd apply it 2x/day everyday. I've done every day before and now go every other day but want to go back to every day again. It hasn't stopped my hairline from slowly receding but I don't know if my hairline would recede faster had I not been using it. My crown has been ok although losing a little density over the years. The one thing that keeps me from stopping topical spironolactone is it helps with this scalp itch/ache everytime I apply it. When I don't apply it for a couple of days the itch/ache always comes back, but I don't know if that's inflammation or related to hairloss at all.
