Hi all,

Been on 1mg finasteride daily for the last years but feel it may have started losing its maintaining powers, so decided to try regrowth, in terms of Minoxidil. I’ll carry on with the finasteride.

1) What brand do you use?
2) How much/often?
3) Where do you purchase from?

I’m 45 if that makes any difference.

Thanks

My cardio dr and dermatologist suggests to NOT take the minoxidil pill.
If I chose to it would be requested to have blood work done more often.
Both suggested using the minoxidil foam inthe balding/thinning areas, which is best priced at Costco.
The bottle suggests twice daily, I just use it 1 time daily @ night a couple of hours before bed.
Also Nitrol Biotin 5,000 mg 2 a day at Costco.
Youtheory collagen for men 4 tabs a day also at Costco.
I’m 69
1 mg Finasteride for about 7 months which HAS affected my sex drive, no matter what I try to do to correct this doesn’t help.
Everything I’ve done has helped.
I believe my hair loss was caused by taking way to much L-arginine for about 1 year which did boost my sex drive.
I’ve dropped down to about 500-600 mg of L-arginine daily but still can’t get back to how I was.
I’m pretty sure it’s because of the finasteride all info pretty much states this will happen.

If your able to buy from Costco a 6 month treatment cost $49, $5 more than Walmart Rogaine for a 3 month treatment.
Same stuff Costcos is labeled Kirkland both 5% foam.
On Walmart it appears you can buy the Kirkland brand 12 month supply cost $82.
Just noticed the Kirkland brand 12 month supply at Walmart is NOT the 5 % foam.
