I was wondering if anyone on this board is using a topical form of finasteride or dutasteride? im very interested in it cause it doesnt seem like its too dificult to make. Im gonna start looking for studies. i also found this on another site, but the link to the study didnt work:
Some topical finasteride studies failed, but notice that this successful one used a *cream* base for the drug, rather than the usual alcoholic solution. You can't help but wonder if previous failures were the result of not using the proper vehicle. (And that's one reason I'm so high on spironolactone in a Dermovan base!)
