Topical Finasteride 0.5 To High Of A Dose

Hi. My surgeon gave me a script for topical 5% minoxidil and 0.5 finasteride

from everything I've read online the normal amount is 0.25 or 0.1 finasteride

Should I contact my doctor and ask him to change the dosage

Also I've seen other ingredients are added to the topical solution as in 82F

Curious what people think is best

The recommended dosage is 0.1% for topical Finesteride, see my thread here for all the topical Finesteride I have used they all contained 0.1%. The only company that did use 0.025% was Genhair.

I’m using a full 1% in PGE did a year of .5% probably over kill was never effective even at that dose for me... minimal sides.
