Is there anything commonly available which has been proven to work?

Is it absorbed so as to lower 'internal DHT' as with propecia?

Is there are drugs available, why are they not commonly reported by hair loss experts?

Thanks for that...very informative but all a bit confusing really. I'm almost certain now that I don't want to take finasteride after reading today about the effects on sperm count/mobility but then my mind changes all the time based on my level of depression (I've felt near suicidal). This thing really is ruining me.

Do any hair loss experts (e.g. transplant doctors) promote the use of these anti androgens as a safer alternative to propecia? if so how much do they cost?

Oh, and are you able to answer my third question in the original post?

Sorry, the first word was meant to say if, not is.

I mean basically, no hair transplant surgeons that i have seen so far have suggested anything other than propecia as an effective and proven solution?

i'll ask this again: Do any hair loss experts (e.g. transplant doctors) promote the use of these anti androgens as a safer alternative to propecia? if so how much do they cost?

Ok, I did a bit of reading and it seems that there still are side effects with that drug.

One guy even positive that his semen became 'watery' within days because of it....that means it must have been absorbed.

As these drugs are so 'underground'...how can you possibly ever trust the information that you have about it? How do you know that there is little effect on internal DHT etc...how do you know they are safe etc? How do you even know that you're getting what you pay for?

Lastly, are they illegal to buy?

There is another drug ...C something...which apparently has NO absorbtion...again, I ask how do you know this and if it is true then why recommend another?

But let's be clear, these are experimental drugs and there's no way of knowing you are getting what you pay for unless you pay to have it tested.
