Took Accutane, Is My Hairloss male pattern baldness Or Telogen Effluvium?

Took accutane last summer. By the 4 out of 6 month mark for the medication I noticed just how badly my hair had thinned.

I remember noticing a bunch of shorter length hairs sticking up at the part of my hair, which I imagine was a bunch of my hair thinning, breaking and going into the resting phase.

It’s been about 11 months since I stopped taking this medication but I can’t tell if I’ve had any improvement or regrowth for my hair, maybe these little hairs are regrowth or maybe those hairs are just hairs thinning and dying slowly.

One pic was a week before I went in accutane. The other pic was from about one week ago from today.

What do you guys think, will my hair regrow, is it Telogen Effluvium, or male pattern baldness?

Also, Don’t take this f*****g drug.

Looks like male pattern baldness. Telogen Effluvium wouldn't follow the obvious pattern, would it. Just my opinion though, visit a Doctor.

I should have asked my doctor before taking accutane if I was suffering from any signs of male pattern baldness before taking that drug. Only reason I took it was cause I thought my hair was gonna go away soon because my dad and brotherare bald. But I then realized after I started thinning that my hair was never bad before hand. Smfh
