could the use of too many medicated shampoos be a bad thing?

I was using the trio of nizoral, t-gel and head and shoulders for the past a few months and it really dried out my scalp. It was red and itchy and unbearable.

So I dropped the t-gel and head and shoulders and just used nizoral 3 days a week with a normal mild shampoo in between. My scalp feels much better afterwards.

what if nizoral t/gel and head and shoulders are out to get you, forming an alliance of medicated shampoos to get in your eyes and make you blind... watch out for that.

Nizoral kind of fries my head when I use it. It feels like my entire scalp is tight afterwards, and it stings a bit. The feeling was worse when I first started using it, but it still happens. I'm thinking about cutting down to once a week for a while to see if it helps. I never really had a dandruff problem, and I primarily use nizoral for its supposed anti-androgen properities.
